Dear Future Resident,

At Brightmoor Nursing Center we provide an ongoing activity program designed to meet the needs of each resident. In order to provide an activity program appropriate for each resident we carefully assess then upon admission and determine his of her activity level. After determining the appropriate level we design a program to meet the needs of that resident.

We offer a large variety of activities for our residents in order to ensure they are living a fulfilling and active life. Our goal is to provide each resident with the quality of life they deserve. We offer mentally and physically challenging activities as well as fun, educational and creative activities.

Our activity room is always open for residents to socialize and relax in. Many residents visit daily and receive simple individual activities or jobs to occupy their time and promote self esteem and self confidence. We encourage residents who have the ability to participate in decorating the facility for special holidays and working at suggestions from residents and family members on ways to provide better care for their loved one and we encourage you to be a part of their lives as much as possible.

The activity department at Brightmoor Nursing is made of a team of two. It consists of a director and assistant; however the departments work together in providing activities, a stimulating environment and creating as much of a home like atmosphere as possible. We want to provide and love them and care for they as if they were our family members.
